Does Medicaid cover this service?
At this time, Real Time Transport is not a Medicaid provider, in most cases, the state of Texas Medicaid transports are contracted and arranged through brokers (select Transportation Management companies). In order to arrange for and have Medicaid pay for your non-emergency transport, you must call the Health and Human Services Medical Support Line at 1-877-633-8747 and they will arrange for various contracted services in your area to transport you.
Does my HMO, PPO, POS or related health insurance cover this service?

You'll need to contact your insurance provider's customer service department and/or case management department to assess your benefits for Non-Emergency Medical Transport coverage. You may also have the case manager or the provider relations department contact us at 214 566 3451 to inquire about arranging your transport*.

*Insurance providers transport require pre-authorization.

Does Medicare cover this service?
Medicare will not reimburse for non-emergency transportation. They will only pay for a medically necessary transport in an ambulance usually in an emergency situation.
